conservatory replacement: Edinburgh
Like many clients, this couple wanted to replace their conservatory with a space that could be utilized more often. As is often in the case in Scotland, the conservatory was too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter.
The garden loving clients wanted a space that would allow views out and a cosy space to spent the evening curled up with a good book and a glass of something. The design incorporates a corner window seat, tall windows centred on an existing garden path and built in shelving to house books and other treasures.
The design incorporates increased insulation, triple glazed windows and rainwater recycling to ensure it is much more sustainable than the current structure.
